Features and application
RM-20 switchgear structure is made of curved perforated steel profiles which are the bay frame.
Side walls are made of sheet steel with powder coating which makes them corrosion resistant. The standard bay width is 850 mm. The switchgear has an upper busbar system mounted on insulators. Depending on the requirements, the switchgear can also be equipped with a measurement, lighting arrester, or coupler bay. As standard, both switchgear versions are made as wall-mounted units. Upon request, after mounting a back panel, they can operate as free-standing units, provided that the switchgear will be installed in electrical room.
RM-20 switchgear is equipped with rear-mounted OM-24/T/UD/160 or OR4 24 TU2 disconnectors for feeder bay and OMB-24/T/BD/160 or OR5 24 T2A disconnectors for for transformer bay. The switchgear is provided with OM-24/UD/160 or OR4 24 PU2, OR5 24 P2-A disconnectors and NRK indirect drive.
RM indoor switchgears are designed for power distribution at the rated voltage of up to 24 kV in industrial transformer stations. They can be installed in separate electrical rooms as wall-mounted and free-standing units.

Options
RM-20 switchgear can have any number of 850 mm bays equipped with OR4 24 PU2, OR5 24 P2-A disconnectors, lighting arresters and converters arranged according to the client’s request. The switchgear has an upper busbar system mounted on insulators. Upon request, the switchgear can be equipped with MV apparatus manufactured by: F&G (KLS, KLFS); ABB (NAL, ANLF); ZEAE (OM, OMB).

Certificates and authorisations
RMt-20 switchgear was tested as part of the testing of STKB 20/630 station at the Institute of Power Engineering in Warsaw – certificate no. 475. Meets the requirements of the PN-EN 60298:2000 standard.
