Features and application

Digistart IS is a softstart for 3-phase induction motors.

Softstart Digistart IS

  • fully controlled power circuit – 2 thyristors for each phase
  • versions with built-in bypass contactor
  • constant current control at each motor phase, even after switching to the bypass contactor
  • multi-language graphical display
  • complex programming of start-up and braking functions, safety parameters, etc.
  • allows the motor to be connected using an inside delta configuration

  • Supply voltage: 3*200 to 440 V, 3*380 to 600(690) V A
  • Rated current: 23 to 1600 A
  • Auxiliary voltage: 110 to 440 V AC

Options

  • Finger Guard Kit: finger guards are available to provide IP20 protection for 145-425 B models with bypass
  • Communications: Modbus, DeviceNet, Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, USB
  • I/O Expansion: I/O extension card (2 digital inputs, 3 relay outputs, 1 analogue input, 1 analogue output)
  • RTD/PT100 and Ground Fault Card: Extension card providing 6 additional RTD/PT100 inputs and 1 ground fault input (ground-fault monitoring requires the measurement via an external current transformer 1000:1, 5 VA)
  • Volt Measure Card: voltage measuring card
  • DSSoft: software for the management of up to 99 softstarts via Modbus or Remote Keypad module
  • Keypad Mounting Kit: allows keypad to be remote mounted up to 3 m from the softstart
  • Ultrafast fuse kit with blocks
